Back-End Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of our platform. You will work closely with other developers to implement new business functionality, test and maintain the platform, and support operational tasks such as database maintenance. Our platform is a high-throughput transactional system that runs under heavy load and generates large volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features across the codebase, including database changes.
• Design, discuss, and document technical solutions together with the team.
• Write, maintain, and improve automated tests (unit and integration tests).
• Validate use cases end-to-end, including API testing.
• Support operations by troubleshooting issues using log files, database tools, and monitoring dashboards.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Maven
• WildFly/JBoss application server
• MySQL
• Experience writing tests that help ensure and maintain quality.
• Experience supporting production systems / operations.
• Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed goals.
• Curiosity and strong attention to detail.
